About Matt

Hello! I’m Matt Middleton, an all-around geek living in Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Professionally, I’ve been a software tester by trade since 2008, working on both locally-installed and web-based applications. I’ve primarily been influenced by James Bach, Michael Bolton, and Cem Kaner, and subscribe to the Context-Driven School of Testing.

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening (mostly fruits and vegetables), cooking, and am currently ranked 1st Kyu in Aikido.

I’m fairly active on the major social media channels (namely Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn), and I like to volunteer with local groups that are focused on food security.
